Ancillary Services - Project Management
APER is committed to work on behalf of you by assuming the role as the Project Manager. APER works extremely close with the
management of the practice to verify that the needs and goals are being met. APER’s process will include the following steps
prior to the initial process of the Implementation Plan.
Initial On-site Review/Survey
Question: What is an on-site review/survey and how does this event assist in the entire process?
Answer: An on-site review/survey allows APER staff to be completely informed on how your office currently operates and enables us to completely document and understand your goals prior to the beginning of the project.
Data Entry Requirements
Question: How would my current data entry process and required data change from my current process to the new system?
Answer: APER staff must have data entry requirements to ensure that these elements are included in the new system.
Conversion Needs
Question:What data can be electronically converted from my present system?
Answer: Patient demographic information and the insurance coverage associated with each patient. APER staff will verify the data prior to the conversion to eliminate any possible complications.
Hardware Survey
Question: Can my current hardware work with the new system?
Answer: APER staff will do a thorough survey of your existing equipment and deliver to you a list of accepted equipment along with a list of required hardware changes.
Training Protocols
Question: What are training protocols?
Answer: From the ‘Data Entry Requirements,’ APER staff will retrieve a written set of protocols that will be used in the system training of your staff.
Reporting Requirements
Question: Why would APER need our reporting requirements when they are standard reports that every office uses?
Answer: APER believes that each office’s reporting requirements are unique to their practice. During the implementation process the reporting needs are vital to the success of the new system.
